Second Request for your Reunion Plans with Reunion Dates

Dear Classmates,

To the 60 or so of you who responded to our first Reunion Survey on January 31st, thank you sharing this essential planning information with us.  It would be great to get another 60.

Depending upon your arrival time and length of stay, your experience, including Commencement, may be 2 ½ or 3 ½ days between Monday May 24, 2021, and  Wednesday the 26th or Thursday the 27th.  This will be our last full-scale Class Reunion.  If you haven’t completed the survey yet, and there is any chance you will be coming to the Reunion, please let us know your feelings on the following:

1.  What events would you most look forward to with Classmates?

2.  Some events will be held jointly with other Classes.  What activities
would you want to be exclusively for 1961 Classmates?

3.  Circumstances permitting, would you be likely to attend?  Would you bring
a spouse, guest or other family member?  How many might that be?

4.  The HAA has made a policy change, and now welcomes mixed Classes to
Reunions.  Would you consider inviting friends from other Harvard Classes
to join you for the occasion?  How many might that be?

5.  For those within driving distance of Cambridge, would you be willing to serve
     on the Reunion Committee?

Please do not reply directly to this e-mail, but click the link to e-mail Ruth Scott xruthscottx@gmail.com.  Send her your responses to the five questions above.

With your help, we will work to have all the details for your stay arranged a full year in advance.  It will be our priority to obtain nearby, reasonably priced accommodations for you, with convenient transportation to events.

With best regards,

The 1961 Class Executive Committee,

Tom Blodgett, Greg Downes, Peter Ellis, Newell Flather,
Dave Larkin, Jane Otte, Joyce Penniston, Ruth Scott,
